THE BASICS OF PISTOL SHOOTING “BLENDED”
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is a two-part course consisting of an e-learning portion (completed online in your own time frame) and a hands-on practical portion conducted at a range under the guidance and supervision of an NRA certified instructor. The course is intended for all adults regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation.
More Details: Some of the topics in the course include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, selecting and storing a pistol, the fundamentals of shooting, and pistol inspection and maintenance. This course fee is $85.00 total for the e-learning portion and the instructor led combined. A $ 42.50 deposit must be received and I will issue you a course control code upon receipt. With the ccc you can then complete the E-learning portion at your own pace and then once you have your Basics of Pistol Shooting Phase 1 certificate we can schedule your instructor led class time and live fire.(approx. 3 to 4 hours) The remaining balance can be paid at your live fire.
ON THE DAY OF LIVE FIRE YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN PISTOL OR USE ONE OF MINE. YOU WILL NEED 100 ROUNDS OF AMMO. IF USING ONE OF MINE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. AMMO IS NOT INCLUDED IN COURSE PRICE.

FIRST STEPS RIFLE ORIENTATION
NRA FIRST Steps Rifle is (geared more towards younger children but not restricted to) designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific rifle action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific rifle action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular rifle model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet and FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.
RECOMMENDED FOR SMALLER CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS.
A parent(s) is welcomed and encouraged to attend with the student as well.

NEW SHOOTERS SEMINAR
This is a 2 1/2 to 3 hour NRA seminar of most variety’s of firearms: rifles, and pistols.The seminar covers basics of fire arm actions, terminology, parts,ammunition, Firearm Safety, and needed accessories. Learn what to expect and what is needed for your first firearm purchase,your first trip to the range, and how to move forward with different programs in the shooting community. This will be all classroom and a non live fire class using actual firearms for demonstration.
This course fee is $25.00 Upon receipt of payment I will contact you and we can schedule your class if there isn’t one scheduled already.
BASIC RIFLE SHOOTING COURSE
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting.
This course is at least eight hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.
Students may bring there personal rifles with 100 rounds of ammunition. .22 will be the main and preferred caliber used however I will have several higher calibers to try if proficient and purchase the ammo.

If you purchase a seat in any classes offered and are not able to make the class, you may reschedule without having to repay as long as you notify me at least 24 hours before the start of the class so that I can notify the next person in line. If you want a refund, I will refund the course cost minus a $25 cancellation fee if you notify me at least 24 hours before the original class start time. Once you reschedule a course, there are no refunds if you want to cancel. If you do not show up to class and do not notify me prior to the start time of your class or if you cancel a second time, you will not get a refund and you will be required to register and pay again if you want to attend another class. Gift certificates are non refundable.
